Make No Bones About It, Halloween Season has Arrived!



Halloween is the second most important holiday for retailers and is one of the most popular festivities in America. For 2012 the National Retail Federation's projected the Halloween season to drive more than $7 billion in U.S. retail sales, with the average person spending $79.82 on Halloween related items.
 
Costumes will continue to become more detailed this year. With that in mind and Halloween right around the corner Rothco has you covered, with tons of costumes ideas from our 4000 plus items

Rothco 2013 Catalog Is Here!

Rothco's 2013 Wholesale Military Catalog is here and being shipped out to all our dealers as I type this post. This year's catalog is our biggest yet, coming in at a whopping 308 pages! Every year Rothco makes sure the latest catalog is better than the last and this year is no different. 
 
Our 2013 catalog is full of great gear including:

The Best Defense is A Camo-fense

Camo is being seen more and more on and off the football field and no one rocks the purple camo as good as Baltimore Ravens Super Fan than Captain Dee-fense. 

We recently came across "Captain Dee-Fense" in our Facebook news feed, as he was being honored by ESPN as one of the Football's ultimate fans and instantly recognized our Ultra Violet Camo Pants. We reached out to this super fan and here is what he had to say about becoming Captain Dee-Fense and his camo gear.

The Captain has been a fan of the Raven's since the beginning starting back in 1996 and the camo pants weren't too far behind, he says that looked started back in 1998. But go to any Baltimore Ravens game and you will see a sea of purple camo, so we asked the captain why he thinks the fans have adopted the purple camo too. 
  
"I think because they have a military look to them. The Ravens have always been about defense, so the military look represents defense, why not camo pants? The most recognizable player by fans and the NFL fans are on our defense. Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Terrell Suggs and Haloti Ngata. Also because I'm one of the most recognizable fans and I wear them so fans like being associated and be a part of something that looks good and are comfortable. They are very comfortable and look good on men or women. The big side pockets are great for holding cell phones, rally towels, peanut and Game Day Programs. Also, it's acceptable for women to wear them in Baltimore. They are very feminine looking and are pretty cool looking on women.  Fans are always asking me where I get them"

Most sports team have a religious following but none as colorful as the Ravens, when we asked the Captain what it means to be a true fan, here is what he had to say.
"A Raven fan is about being associated with a winner. Every year, we always know we have a chance to win a Super Bowl. We have fans clubs thorough Maryland; they are called Ravens Roost, and Ravens Nest. We have a big weekend conventions in Ocean City Maryland in June. A mass sea of purple takes over the Oceanside town. Baltimore was without a team for 13 years, we never take it for granted."

 Captain Dee-fense has become a staple of the game over the past 15 years; it is no wonder why he is being honored by ESPN this week at ESPN's Inaugural Hall of Fame Class. The captain was also elected into the Visa Hall of Fans in 2002.

The Captain has also taken his game on the road, as a former member of the Military and a Cancer Survivor he has put his fame to good use, attending over 300 Charity Events with another 70 scheduled for this year!
